Mono or Stereo?

What is the difference between mono and stereo?

Mono is a single signal audio channel
As for the stereo, there are two audio channels with two signals, which makes the sound more wide and open

In short, in mono, all sounds go to one channel, but in stereo, all sounds go to two channels.

Sometimes we need to record audio in mono and sometimes in stereo.

For example, when recording the singer’s voice, we record it in mono to give the voice more strength and clarity and make it exactly in the middle. As for the choir, we record it in stereo to make it spread crosswise and wide left and right, and so on in many examples.
