Do we really need the pop filter?
Many people wonder what the A pop filter is, and there are others who wonder whether the pop filter is important in the process of recording using a mic at home or in a professional studio.
And here comes the question: Do we need the pop filter?
The pop filter is a device used to reduce the intensity of the letters of the B and P during recording or any loud sound that may harm the mic.
Another important use of the pop filter is to protect the microphone from sweat or saliva while recording.
There are two types of filter:
- THE NYLON MESH POP FILTER
Pop filters are placed in front of a microphone to an adjusted distance that helps to eliminate the fast-moving air that causes the unwanted ‘ph’ sound. Basically, Pop Filters are mounted to the microphone stand itself, so you will be required to buy a mic stand too in order to use it.

يتم وضع الفلتر أمام الميكروفون على مسافة يمكن التحكم فيها مما يساعد على التخلص من الهواء سريع الحركة الذي يسببه صوت حرف الباء او الهاء او اي حرف قوي ذو طابع انفجاري, يتم تثبيت الفلتر على حامل المايك ويوضع امام المايكوفون بمسافه بسيطه
