8 Steps to Recording your Audiobook at Home
- put some acoustic panel in your room
- use the suitable microphone
- put the microphone in the middle of the room
- sit the Mac level with your mouth
- use a pop filter
- used closed back headphone when recording
- set level in your interface between -16 – 18 DB
- warm up your voice and drink water
Audio Specification for ACX
- Each file must be no longer than 120 minutes.
- Each file must measure between -23dB and -18dB RMS.
- Each file must have peak values no higher than -3dB.
- Each file must have a noise floor no higher than -60dB RMS.
- Each file must be 192kbps or higher 44.1kHz MP3, Constant Bit Rate (CBR).
